KnockMode vs SalesRabbit

SalesRabbit is the established platform in this category and it is good at several things we haven’t built. This page says where each one wins, including the four rows where they do.

Pick them, honestly, if…

You should use SalesRabbit

  • You’re running a team today and need shared territory now.
  • You want purchased homeowner data layered on the map.
  • You need digital contracts or CRM integrations.
  • A native app on the store matters to you.
  • You want a vendor with a support line and a track record.

You should try KnockMode

  • You knock alone, or you’re between companies.
  • You lose signal regularly and it costs you afternoons.
  • You want your numbers to survive changing employers.
  • You would rather work on a browser than install anything.
  • You want the free thing to be the actual product.

The difference that isn’t a feature

Almost everything in the table is a thing one of us has built and the other has not, and those change. The row that doesn’t change is the first one.

Their free tier is a doorway. Ours is the building.

SalesRabbit Lite exists so that a solo rep can try the platform and bring it to their team later. That’s a completely reasonable business, and it’s why Lite is built the way it is. Leads that sit untouched for ninety days get deleted, and there’s no web version. The free product is a sample of the paid one.

We make money the same way in the end: a company pays for the team layer. But the free plan isn’t a sample, because a rep working alone isn’t a lesser version of a sales team. They’re the person this whole industry runs on, and they’re the one who loses three summers of numbers every time they change companies. The free plan is built for them to keep using indefinitely and never upgrade.

What that costs us to say out loud

It means our paid tiers have to be worth buying on their own merits, and right now they don’t exist. If you’re a manager evaluating software for a crew this quarter, the honest recommendation on this page is the one in the left-hand box above.

We’re new, and you should weigh that

KnockMode is early. There’s no support phone number, no track record and no native app. What there is: a free plan that does not expire, a map that works with no signal, and a record you keep. Try it on one street before you trust it with a season.
