How many reps to put on a street

The right number of reps for an area is however many can work it without overlapping, which is a function of door density rather than team size. Too many reps on one neighbourhood produces double-knocked households and complaints. Without a live shared record, the practical ceiling is lower than most managers assume.

Density decides it

A dense subdivision absorbs more reps than a rural route with the same street count, because the constraint is addresses rather than area. Sizing a team to the map rather than to the doors is how overlaps happen.

Overlap is worse than idle capacity

A rep with too few doors is an inefficiency. Two reps knocking the same household in one afternoon is a complaint, and complaints scale into a city-wide problem in a way that idle capacity does not.

What actually raises the ceiling

A shared, live record of which streets are taken. That is a team feature and KnockMode does not have it today, so the honest answer for our users is that the ceiling is whatever you can coordinate verbally.

Common questions

How many reps can work one neighbourhood?
As many as can be kept off each other's streets. Without a live shared record that number is small.
Is it better to spread out or concentrate?
Concentrate enough to finish areas, spread enough to avoid overlap. The failure mode of concentrating is complaints, which is the more expensive one.
Does KnockMode prevent overlap?
No. Shared territory and anti-overlap are Field-tier features and they are unbuilt.
